If you’re date is a business man by day, and an avid snowboarder on the weekends, and this something you admire, then say that you respect how they still pursue their passions while still being responsible. There are endless other things you could admire – your job is to make sure they know why you’re interested in the first place.
“How did it go?”
The follow up is so essential for illustrating how attentive you are and how carefully you listen to them. If they said they were going to a wedding, or were nervous about a massive work presentation, and you ask them about it then that shows that you have real interest in their well-being. Thoughtfulness is very attractive quality that should never be overlooked. Women love it especially.
