Honesty is the best policy when it comes to dating. Think about the stress of trying to keep up a lie for months if things work out. That is not a good look for anyone. This is especially true if you are online dating. You want the girl to fall for the real you. You are going to need to tell her what you really do for a living, and what you really look like.
So it goes without saying if you don’t have a blond hair don’t say you do, if you are 52 don’t say you are 32, and if you are a bartender don’t tell her you are a doctor. You want her to like you and not discover that you are seriously dishonest. It is great when you find a girl you can be yourself with, don’t ruin it from the beginning by lying. Once the trust is broken, that is all she wrote. You won’t get another chance so keep that in mind when you begin to fabricate a story about your ninja skills and just tell her you have been in three fights and won one. Honesty is the best policy, just remind yourself of that.
There is such a thing as being truthful. Just be mindful of the information you choose to share with her. You may not want to tell her all about your exes and how you cheated on them. You could try and reassure her that you have changed, but that will be the only thing she thinks about. You can see how that is not a good way to start a relationship.
